The Massachusetts Association of Contributory Retirement Systems is incorporated as an independent nonprofit organization designed to promote the rights and benefits of the membership, present or future, for public retirement systems; and to uphold the public interest in the proper administration of contributory retirement systems pursuant to Mass. Gen. Law Ch. 32.
Please click here to download a copy of the MACRS Spring 2013 Annual Meeting Agenda. The Annual Conference takes place from Sunday June 2, 2013 through Wednesday, June 5. Retirement board members can earn up to a total of 6 CEU credits by attending all three days of the Conference. Chapter 176, Acts of 2011, requires board members to earn a total of 18 CEU credits over three years, with a minimum of 3 credits per year and a maximum of 9.
