MAY 10, 2008:  Nationally known pension attorney Robert Klausner and Futurist/Economist Lowell Catlett will headline an informative lineup of speakers at the annual MACRS Spring Conference, held from June 1-4, 2008, on Cape Cod.

Addressing the conferees Monday morning, Klausner will provide an “Update on National Trends in Public Pensions.” As a national expert on public pension law, with a focus on member’s rights, Robert Klausner offers his unique insight into the erosion of employee/retiree benefits and what can be done to stop it.

Then on Tuesday, MACRS is please to be joined by Dr. Lowell Catlett, who “is an exciting futurist whose knowledge of technologies and their implications on the way we will live and work is addressed in his varied and upbeat presentations.” Catlett, who has been a featured speaker at NCPERS conferences, is well known for his entertaining style of explain the complexities of the modern marketplace.
